  1. When they don’t make it to the cup can you never mention them winning one again 🙏

  2. You hate the Oilers admit it…Hahahaha…Anyway, I really do not see ANY easy first rounds for ANY team in the supposed WEAKER Western Conference team. As an Oiler fan I am well aware we have not heard the last from the Kings. They are a TOUGH playoff team and even if the Kings get eliminated, they will be taking some Oilers with them. (ie. low hit on Desharnais, 2 hand chop on Hyman's wrist)….As far as second rounds. What if Vegas beats Dallas? (looking very possible, check out Ottingers numbers vs Vegas this season)….Wouldn't Vegas then play Vancouver? Or maybe regular season doesn't matter after all?

  3. Too early to tell but the reason I gave the Oilers no credit is because of their history in the payoffs and also because Im a Wings fan I don't trust Holland to save my life but their roster is terrifying and I would not be surprised at the least if they go all he way but until they do so I still don't trust them.

  4. Couple of crappy calls against the kings last night tho the penalty against dubios on McDavid was soft in my opinion and the goal that got called back should have bin a goal come on bad calls boooooo GKG

  5. I love the fact that everyone is overlooking the oilers almost purely off of the start they had to the season. Completely ignoring the fact that the oilers have been the best team in the league since knoblauch and Coffey took over.
Throw in the fact that mcdavid looks like he waited this year to go super nova at the perfect time.

  6. I too thought the Oilers were toast and were going to miss the playoffs with the bad start to their season. Kudo to Mcdavid and the Oilers for getting their season on track

  7. People seem to forget… The score should be 5 – 6 Edmonton (Kings had one dis-aloud and Edmonton got an empty netter), which is NOT the blow out everyone is making the game out to be.
    Remember LAST SEASON?
Remember how the Kings are able to break down Edmonton just by getting into their heads and letting them fall apart on their own?
I just love how people dismiss the West.
    See you in game seven.

  8. EDM is my #1 team, and I follow the Kings fairly closely, as ironically, they are my 2nd favourite US team, and maybe my 4th favourite team in the league.

Don't under appreciate the resiliency of this Kings team. They can adjust, and they can find ways to control the play. They got caught with their pants down in G1, and Talbot didn't exactly do them any favours. He is capable of bouncing back too. EDM fans know this well enough.

I do expect EDM to win this series, ya. However, G1 is not an indicator of the direction of this series either. It will be at least 6, maybe 7, with some OT sprinkled in there.

Don't under estimate the desire for LA to slay their demons this playoff either. They will make a series of this. No doubt.

  9. Oilers are playing the kings. With Talbot in net. Not sure how much it takes
To win against that team. Let’s hold
Off judgement about oilers until second round. Kings are known to upset teams

  10. I don't trust the Kings to beat the Oilers. I think the PLD trade killed thrm. They lost good supporting casts. As for round 2, the Oilers will step it up, and I'd have picked them if I'm not a loyal Canucks fan.

  11. I wrote my friend in Houston, TX after the Oilers game 1 win and said: Out of all the game 1 matchups, The Oilers just vibe indomitable, like on a mission with McDavid and he is going to win the cup no matter!

  12. Mcdavid knows this is year might be one of the best chances at the cup. Entering his prime with Leon theyre hungry

  13. Kings scored 2 goals… one a fluke. Edmonton was so on point that they got bored and scored two for the the Kings. 😛

  14. Actually one of those LA goals was scored off of two Oilers into their own net. It went off of Nurse’s skate into the net past Skinner.

  15. You overate the season series, and underate our defense. Playoffs are different and the only game where the Oilers were in form was our most recent matchup but we also didn’t have McDavid. Good videos though, we all have our biases but objectively your cancucks aren’t all that terrifying. That said anyone can win.

  16. I'd say your assessment of Vancouver vs Edmonton is a bit off. Oilers lost 3 in the first part of the season before the new coach, and the most recent game was essentially a 1 goal game without McAssist playing. I do think you're right about the Oilers being terrifying

  17. Outside of the first 18 games or so of the season, the Oilers have been the best team on the NHL.

  18. Teams need to be playoff battle-tested to win a cup. Vancouver is the opposite of that. The Oilers are battle tested and determined.

The Oilers are the favourites to win it all.

  19. Not sure what we need to be scared of exactly. Regular season stats mean nothing. We already know Edmonton owns the Kings. I love how everyone is already looking beyond this series. To say this year is easiest path because of this or that….really? I’d love to ask Stanley Cup winning teams “what year was the easiest?”

  20. Oilers cant win if bettman is in the control room calling the shots LOL! They can beat the enemy team but they cant beat the refs and management.
