Oilers coach won that one. The clogging of the middle had LA take a bunch of bad shots. Oilers scored only one lousy goal but Kings scored 0 and you lose 100% of games you score 0.
Goaltending is paramount whether in the first round or the last. It will be needed going ahead.

Despite the shot difference, BOTH teams played airtight, playoff hockey. There was not an inch of ice that was not battled for. I know that many would like more goals, but if they Oilers stay THAT disciplined defensively, and play physical without taking penalties they have a real chance to go very deep this year…..THAT was playoff hockey.
