The rumor is Seattle
Well, sign me up for a ticket on the delusional train. MAKE IT HAPPEN DA
Not gonna happen
I highly doubt much has changed since Waddell was quoted as saying this earlier this morning:
>On new Brind’Amour contract, Waddell says « very confident » deal will get done. « Rod wants to be a Hurricane for life. There will be a solution here quickly, I feel. »

Let’s do it!
Please bring him home
I very much doubt that a contract offer was pulled by the team during or after their 1st round series that they won in 5 games.
They were 55-60% in every single underlying metric (corsi, fenwick, shots, goals, expected goals, scoring chances, and high danger chances) at both 5 on 5 and all situations during that series.
They finished the series with a +121 differential in shot attempts, a +32 differential in shots on goal and a +7 goal differential. Through 5 games.
That was a complete and total ass-kicking and we’re to believe that management was watching it and decided that they suddenly didn’t believe Rod was worth what they had recently offered?
Why would this type of news or the negotiations themselves be occuring between playoff rounds
