@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. Oilers fan.

    I wasn't so sure as I was concerned about Skinner but he's the only reason the Oilers pulled this off efficiently. Some bad calls, missed calls and bad bounces, this could have went either way but Skinner kept his cool. This gives me faith for the next round.

  2. I'm sorry but I'd much rather watch Oilers vs Preds. They honestly have had a better rivalry over the past few years and with the Ekholm trade and Draisaitl's insane product vs the Preds(34 points in 12 games) it's just a better story

  3. No I believe they lack the depth & defence. The next round should be interesting for them. If they get past it I cannot see them getting past Colorado, Vegas or Dallas.

  4. The Kings FO dispatched the Kings, not EDM.

    Mclellan should've been fired after getting bounced twice in sequence to the soilers, and instead they extended him. Only to fire him halfway through the season, then to bring on an assistant coach who was also fired for going 11-15-0 with his former team.

    And what was he able to do for the Kings special teams? 0-12 on the powerplay and 9-19 on the PK.

    Just a travesty of mismanagement for not only the fans, but the players on that team.

  5. EDM has Corey Perry, so they're obviously a lock for the SCF.

    Here's how I think it's gonna go down: DAL beats VGK, beats COL, then meets EDM in the WCF. Idk who will win between NSH and VAN, EDM can handle NSH and I'm not sure if VAN has the postseason experience to thwart the soilers in a best of seven.

    Jake Oettinger will get overwhelmed easily by McLegs, his speed might even cripple Tanev and force him into early retirement.

  6. The Oiler defence is like a steel sieve. They allowed too many goals in this series. Against a more powerful, hard-checking team, they would surrender a great deal more.

  7. Oilers get to coast to the WCFs due to the draw. The get an easy Kings team, then likely an injured Canucks team. To win the Cup you have to have some luck and it's really shaping up the right way for them. Not sure they could handle Vegas in round 1 though.

  8. I wouldn’t read much into the Canucks Edmonton regular season results since 3 of the 4 matches were in the first month of the season, before they fired Woodcroft, and they’ve been a completely different team since he was fired

  9. Skinner already has a Highlight Reel full of Blooper Goals he has let in…what do you think will happen against a real Team?….they are going to whiplash and implode. The Oilers are PP Merchants and that throws smoke on the gaping hole in Skinners head.

  10. If Skinner can keep being consistent, if the power play keeps being strong and if they can keep the scoring depth, there is a chance unless they face a hotter team.
