Well said. Enough is enough about blaming the coaches, the players need to respond and step it up. Clearly our younger players have done just that this season.
If you’re not getting that from the veterans like Couturier then it’s time to move on from him and start fresh. I said it earlier in the season that they should move on from certain players as this should be a complete rebuild. I’d still want Torts as my head coach because you’re looking to have someone mold these guys into strong players in the future and Tortorella is doing just that with the younger players. As he said at the start of the season, we’re still laying the foundation on this team. With two first round picks available this summer I’d say draft a new center and a couple of forwards that are pure offensively minded. Once Michkov gets here then you can look to spend a little more with a UFA that can help with their goal scoring too. I also thought despite his early season struggles that Laughton should have been the one wearing the C. He’s done everything for this team similar to how Brind’Amour was when he played here.
Ranger fan here. He’s a good hockey coach but his lack of people skills ALWAYS creates his demise. He did it in Tampa too., Columbus too. He’s not fit for head coaching

Five goals on 15 shots, this has been the new norm during this losing streak. Couple games literally doubling the other team in shots and still losing.. from what I see I don't think Ersson's even going to be a viable backup.
There's no leadership on this team. Torts is STILL the voice of the team.
Lotta fans would struggle to name 10 head coaches in the NHL. Everybody knows who coaches the Flyers, and that's not good.
Torts needs to limit his media exposure and open the door to the dressing room. Let the players explain their way out of this.
Ranger fan here — if there ever was a cancer in a locker room who can ruin younger players and split locker rooms, it would be John Tortorella. His team hates him and they are all laying down so Tortorella won't be around next season.
Time to flush the roster! Everyone 25 & over has to go! Not a Flyers fan but, the NHL is better when the Flyers are good and starting the rebuild ASAP will make that happen sooner.
What you are dealing with, his a total lack of talent. When your Capt., has one goal in his last 33 games, that says it all. That is awful, and is only acceptable if your Capt is a goalie.
