Not all his games were played with the Islanders so him hitting 1000 while with us isn’t as important as if he never played for Toronto. I don’t mind him having bricks for feet but he can’t grind anymore either which makes him pretty ineffective. Same sentiment goes for Clutter. Loved my boys but we need to get younger, not older next season
Would like to see him be the last to wear a bucket without a visor. Probably not going to happen though…Still, if they can figure out a way to keep him and it not impact cap considerations, I’m all for it.
Martin shouldn’t be a regular but I do think he still has value in the league as a part timer. Just not with us
