On any natural breakaway, the player has no time for lollygagging. A penalty shot therefore, should be quick and decisive. Otherwise, it's just a gimmick.

Rangers just feel unstoppable right now. Carolina has been trying to catch them all season and just couldn't. Don't see why that'd stop here.

I'm a big.Carolina fan but have to give a slight edge to the Rangers. I am hoping for a Carolina-Florida ECF but may not happen.
I thoguht Panarin had a great first round. He was doing a lot and causing a lot of turnovers and bodied Oshie. Kappo Kaako i thought was unlucky to not have 3 goals as he spanged 2 off the post in great moves. I think Igor is the difference in this series. it will go 6 or 7 games easily.

66% is too high of a chance for Carolina. I genuinely think it’s a 50/50 toss up. I hope Carolina wins, but I’m scared of this Rangers team. I don’t know what will happen, but I know that it’ll most likely be 6 or 7 games and that it’ll be fun (and bad for my heart and mental health)

As a canes fan, I could see this going either way. If the canes lock it down, they can definitely take it, but if they’re sloppy then the rangers will take advantage.

I couldn't help but notice that you left Kreider off your board. He did have a couple of goals.
The reason that Carolina is favored is because they were 1 and 2 on their PK and PP. Rangers were 4th on the PP and 3rd on the PK (I think). Either way Carolina's special teams were statistically stronger however the biggest difference is that Carolina had a stronger plus/minus 5 on 5.
I'm hoping the Rangers can get 2 wins at home and put pressure on Carolina to win 4 of 5. Also hopeful that we can get a split in Carolina.
I am concerned that the Rangers have won their last 3 games of the regular season plus 4 more against the Saps. That makes 7 in a row and the law of averages tells us we are closing in on a loss. LGR!
Honestly I think whoever wins this series will be in the final, and whichever team ends up winning this series will have to earn it through blood, sweat, and tears. This is going to be a great series to watch as a neutral fan
