  1. Devon Levi is an incredible Goalie. No doubt he will do great things in the NHL in the future! Great show, and I can't wait for the Sabres to get the whole thing together.

  2. Levi had an outstanding game! He was easily the best player on both teams. Now, what I saw in that game was the Amerks looked like this seasons Buffalo Sabres in every aspect. Kulich was invisible when he didn't have the puck (which is why I believe the Sabres never brought him up) but the saddest part of this was Levi and UPL alike, they have made so many saves in games that the offense was just dead. Couldn't get any shots (had a great 2 on 1 in OT) and still can't capitalize. This is why as a Sabres fan, we can't move forward thinking the players are going to get better. Even their farm team is can't get any goals in 5 periods of play. Hell they honestly didnt even score a goal in game, it took a penalty shot to get 1 goal in the 30+ shots they had.

  3. Hasek, miller, burraso, biron, Luk, and Levi. If anything buffalo does right is find goaltending that takes a team to the next level. Marty biron and miller are like upl and levi. Both are solid only one will come out. Who it will be? TBD but its so great to see buffalo have goaltending always come through. We have rough moments but son of a gun when a goalie comes up and develops in buffalo. You know its gonna be special! Now get the teams in front to get it together.

  4. I think you give UPL a 3 to 4 year at 3.5 to 4.5 million and sign or trade for a vet to pair with UPL. Let Levi stay down with Rochester and dominate the AHL for a for season.

  5. Get Levi's rookie card sure investment he's being taught and brought in perfectly ,he now has playoff exp maybe not nhl but the ahl is legit we all can name great players that have started in this league,is he Hasek I hope

  6. Devon Levi’s play ever since he arrived in Buffalo definitely has me encouraged. What has me nervous is what Lindy said in his press conference.

While he did say that he’s excited about the Sabres 2 young goaltenders, UPL was the only one he referred to by name. As expected, UPL is the projected starter, but my fear is that Ruff will kinda bury Levi in Rochester like he did with Ryan Miller. Miller was 25 when he made the NHL full time.

I know that it’s a different Era and goalies don’t usually play 60+ games, but I’m concerned that he’ll keep Levi in the AHL for at least 1-2 years.

Hopefully that’s not what happens and between his season with the Amerks (and his NHL numbers too honestly) and hopefully a strong camp, Levi will give them no choice but to keep him in Buffalo.

  7. Levi played Hasek-like last night. He is a special goalie and Devon is a championship goalie something UPL is not.

  8. Think Levi's got all the tools to be a great goalie, one thing he's lacking is size which is needed by a goalie in todays NHL.

  9. the hockey hieroglyphics bore me to tears, Joe.
    Figures lie and liars figure.
The eye test is all-in-all for me.

  10. I think with both goalies and the entire roster we are staring at greatness right in the face. This franchise has the potential to become dominant for an entire decade if we keep playing our cards right. And this time we’re not going to lose our Drury and Briere. This time they will all be locked in.

  11. Any chance Sabres would consider trading UPL….he may never have higher value….he was very good this year….but there are a long list of goalies with a career year followed up by mediocre career…look at Comrie
