Bruins fans recall a similar strange play off the boards in OT when the Bruins were up 3 games to 1 against the Florida Panthers in the 2022-2023 season. The Bruins lost 3 straight last year and were on the verge of a repeat. This would have been the Bruins 6th straight loss with a chance to advance a round. This may have saved the coach.
