We play a more aggressive style with Demko in net and leads to more offensive from us. However, playing the Oilers, we should avoid playing a track-meet with them because it will play right into their game plan. We should look at containing their top 2 lines and hope our depth can punch through. It will be a tough series without Demko.

IMO you stay with Silovs until there is a reason not to, which is either a) his confidence fails and he gets lit up or b) Demko is back. DeSmith is a seasoned vet and a quality back-up, he knows what’s best for the team and isn’t the type of guy to selfishly demand the net, nor let riding the bench shake his mentality.

I’m confident with both DeSmith and Silovs. Honestly, Edmonton fans should be more concerned about their own goaltending than we should with ours.
