A player’s coach supporting his players. This is an expected answer and not sure what the reporter was looking for here

  2. PoMo loves him like a child and is going to lit a fire on his ass like you do when a child fucks up.

Agree. What else is he going to say? He acknowledged Ekblad didn’t play well tonight. Frankly, I couldn’t believe how bad Ekblad was. We all saw it. The miscues were glaring and two directly led to easy goals. It was like he was concussed or something. With that said, he’s an integral part of the team and has played the most games in Panthers history behind Barkov. All the overreacting fans talking about benching him are out of their minds.

He better, there are a hundred players in just the US right now who would have played better for half the price.

  5. He had a really strong series against TB. But he was the worst player on the ice by far tonight

This is PoMo’s way of saying. Do better bro while you still have my respect.

Those are forfeiting words. And a fireable offense.

I was just yesterday thinking he might lose some important games for us by his usual disasterous mistakes. First pick and 7,5M cap hit this year, please be better.

  9. Guys have bad games. Hell, Barkov had multiple turnovers. The new lines and a week off built up a little rust. Wednesday will be different

He was brutal last night. Responsible for 3 goals against and was bailed out by Bobrovsky on at least 3 other brutal turnovers as well.

But the whole blue line was off yesterday. Even Forsling had some miscues as well. On the 4th goal, you’d like to see Ekblad take a better angle and be in somewhat better position initially, but Forsling absolutely got caught pinching on that play and it led to an initial odd man rush and than a breakaway that they scored on.

In addition to that, the team was just abysmal. Missed passes galore. Couldn’t handle the puck. Poor shot selection and were not on the same page with their communication.

These are all things that need to be cleaned up in game 2. If we drop game 2 we are in serious shit. You do not want to go on the road down 0-2 in the series.
