J’ai été critiqué et réprimandé par beaucoup pour avoir évoqué ce sujet. Les gens ont affirmé que cela « n’arrivait absolument pas », que c’était « impossible », etc. Cela s’est produit pas plus tard que ce matin ! Par hasard, aujourd’hui sur @SpittinChiclets, les gars ont discuté de l’idée que Brady Tkachuk soit échangé aux Devils du New Jersey.     hes not what we need, and would be a waste of cap. Nemec and holtz are great future pieces, specifically nemec as our d is already weak. getting rid of nemec and putting a worse utica d man on the blue line is another wasted season easy

    You make a great case for Brady. We need to get a Fitz to tune into your channel ASAP! Another thing to emphasize is Brady is super hungry to push to the next level. We need that too.

    I like the idea brings some grit to the team which is needed and it’s not a temporary fix like picking up Curtis Macdermid (just for physicality and to go after goons) I do think Brady would be great addition but I would also like to see two good D men and a goalie to start ullmark (dreams) and have Allen be back up , plus still need a coach ( hoping for Berube) to gel it all together

    I'm old enough to remember when a guy named Scotty Stevens didn't think he would be a devil. This could be the crazy thing that would put the D's on the right track.

    You have to imagine that Fitzy has been thinking about this for a while as well. We know he tried with Matthew, so there’s no way he doesn’t want to try to get Brady on board IF he can.

    Anyone who gave you sh*t for this is dumb. It makes perfect sense and I pray it happens. I would even give up Nico for this to happen, since they will need the 10th pick for a goaltender. Not that I don’t love Nico, but Fitz is going to have to give to get. People thought FLA was insane to give up what the did for Matt Tkachuk and look at them now. #bringbradytonj #bringstevethemaniacstickerstonj

    A Brady vs Nemec trade, I would do it in a heartbeat. I would also try to move another player to lower the cap. Ideally Palat. But I dont know, I think Palat can give us intangibles in the playoffs.

    Absolutely love the idea of Brady here. And it sounds more and more like Brady wants out of Ottawa and has NJ in mind.

    But, just to play devils advocate — no pun intended — we'll still need to build around Brady just like we need to build around Hughes, Bratt, Meier, etc, from the bottom up, so the priority should be defense, a goalie, and Tkachuk, in that order. We do have a lot to trade, but I don't want to give up pieces that could otherwise land us a big defenseman. Ottawa can have all the picks they want, Holtz, Casey, maybe Schmid, but I'd be more reluctant to give up a Mercer or Nemec. If Fitz is smart and efficient, I think he could get all of that done. But that's still "if." Curious how much you'd be willing to give up. If they asked for Mercer, Nemec, and the 10th pick, would you do it? That's probably around what I'd ask for if I were them.

    BTW, don't worry about what Ottawa fans say. You've said multiple times you're speculating and, besides, you're allowed to say what you want for your own team.

    Yeah the fact that Brady has played with the Hughes brothers before, is a HUGE advantage. Watch how quickly the chemistry builds if Brady comes here

    If this was a court of law, you would have made a slam dunk case for Brady coming to NJ. Great work. Fitz has to make this happen. He sat on his ass all last year. He can't repeat that this year, and has to make this move. You want to talk about big game hunting, this would be a hell of a statement.

    It’s the same as it was before lol. This deal would cost NJ soooo much in players, picks and cap space. I think he would be a good fit but I don’t see this happening. Crazier things have happened but I doubt this does.
