Big difference I noticed is the Nucks don’t try to score highlight reel goals, they go to work. Oilers getting mangled and everyone tries to dangle or pass through 3 people.

The difference between our Oilers and them was we allowed them back in. Stu was awful tonight. They shielded McDavid all tonight. Leon was hurt. Our defense was terrible- Nurse-
The Oilers don’t shoot the puck like they should… too much fancy plays. Plus the puck was bouncing on their ice and the Oilers were falling all over the place. Terrible loss when we should have won.

G1 loss is brutal, 4-1 lead and blow away the W. Canucks did a great job shutting down our firepower. Their defense was solid after 1st period. Meanwhile our D made some stupid mistakes and Canucks were cashing scoring opportunities in goals. It was sad to watch us losing…but hopefully we could learn from G1 loss and fight back and battle back for G2 W! Can’t blame Conor for his 0 shot on net G1…Gotta find ways to move on and be better! Grind full 60 mins and even more mins in OTs for each game W! LFG Oilers.
