    Call me crazy, I think Celebrini and Smith should stay in college. Tank one more year then it's all in. He's just 17. Plenty of time

    The Sharks most likely will have a Top 5 pick again next year along with the Vegas #1 pick. Sharks should pick the best available athlete, forward or defenseman unless there is a can't miss franchise goalie prospect.

    Congrats SJ on the Celebrini sweepstakes!!! No one outside of Chicago & the NHL wanted the Hawks to win this lottery!!! And the NHL is a better league when the Sharks are competitive IMHO !!!

    I think its a fallacy to say that the Sharks have been a terrible team for a long time and that the Sharks fans are long suffering. I think people have forgotten that the Sharks were playoff teams and (mostly) Cup contenders from 2000 – 2019 with 17 seasons of at least 90 points from 2000 – 2019.     So happy we got the first overall! It is a huge question for the sharks because there is a lot of open spots in the roaster if they decide to stay in college. If they are on the team I’d imagine it would look something like this:

    So excited that we finally caught a break. Celebrini is a 200 foot center that is ready to play 2nd line minutes right now. Smith and Musty have nothing left to develop at their current teams & Eklund will finally have friends. This team will be bad next year but it’ll be exciting and we are finally in the BUILD part of the Rebuild!

    I think Will Smith's decision comes into focus after World Championship Tournament. If he thinks he can handle playing against NHL caliber players, he signs the ELC. If he doesn't think he's ready it's back to college.
