When I first had seen the Bennett/Marchant "collision" I was just like, it was a collision… freak accident. Then the other angle came out and then I was "vintage cheap shot artist Bennett strikes again!" I also didnt care because it was on Marchant, as I think he always deserves worse whenever he gets his medicine. I hate that POS rat…
That non-goaltender interference play infuriates the shit out of me though. The league put that rule into place over a decade ago and I 100% agree with it! This was the NHL basically saying that we are going to ignore it and we want Florida to win over you Boston… enjoy your Cup from 2011… thats the only one you are going to win for the next 40 years.
Although I still think that Florida would ultimately take the series… just not like this… I wanted a more epic 7 game series than last year between these two… and we totally should have gotten it!

i find it funny that bruins fans are unhappy about a cheap shot and a cheap play for a goal, yet, this is the way Boston plays the game. What's good for the is not ok for me mentality. And they think so highly of the most hated player in the league and throw childish tantrums when he gets hurt in the same manner he would easily hurt someone else. What goes around comes around. And I hate that the nhl rule book makes that goal call hard to overturn since rule only cares about if the goalie could’ve made the save if not hindered. And since it doesn’t look into how Bennett go so much space to make that shot, which swayman probably wouldn’t have saved if unimpeded, it’s a good goal
But that doesn’t account for the fact Bennett only has that opportunity because coyle isn’t there

Absolutely shit job by the NHL not to suspend Bennett for punching Marchand (I don't care about what Brad's done in the past that's a suspendable offense. Furthermore, per the NHL RULES ITSELF, this should have been disallowed for goaltender interference.

I'll never understand how so many people equate spearing (a dirty play that bothers me every time it's done, no matter who it's done by) to targeting the head. One will ruin a guy's week. The other can end a career or a life. Marchand has never tried to give someone brain damage. People are wilfully blind to realities they don't like.
