This is why we aren’t NHL coaches and in the system. Karlsson was solid tonight at both ends of the ice and showed he should be in the lineup. I love Hogs, and sure its a lateral move offensively but defensively Karlsson is a better choice.
Also Aman was noticeable out there making good decisions at both ends too. Love the depth that we have

It’s hilarious seeing the oilers fans bitch about zadorov at the end of the game as if McDavid didn’t just two hand a guy to start it.
Canucks turtled after the first which was too bad, it gave the oilers a lot of momentum to go into the next game.
What a game by silovs! The last half of the game felt like an Oilers power play. Can’t help but feel we got lucky! Good teams find a way to win I guess!
I literally had to check online to see if Petterson was playing about 40 minutes into the game though…. Man I hope he finds his groove!

To be fair to Cole, I think he played well in the first 2 periods and until his penalty in the 3rd. Just don’t let him be the net-front D-man…

Karlsson and Aman had solid games fulfilling their roles, 88 on pk and 94 out late 5 on 6, give them and Toch lots of credit for trusting them and giving them confidence.
