some guys get the big contract and they can't handle the expectation that comes with it.
In retrospect it seems kind of silly to sign a player to that much of our cap space before we’ve even seen him perform in the playoffs. But i’m not counting the kid out yet. Sedins, kesler, burrows all took a long time to get to form. If petterson remains on track he should have more points than both sedins combined by the time he retires, and #40 will be in the rafters. That’s best case scenario and it’s not unattainable.
