@Canucks de Vancouver

    Di Giuseppe will go ham like Fred VanVleet did for the Raptors after his son was born during their championship year. Guy would NOT miss a 3

    Is this his first kid?

    If so, PDG about to go off

    Missing PDG and Soucy same game was brutal but life is more important than hockey.

    Incoming dad strength on the PK

    So glad to hear this! So glad they’re both healthy and coming home today.

    The hockey gods will bless us with a new dad goal.

    Glad to hear his son and wife are happy and healthy. Those are more important than the game, but now that he knows that they are well taken care of, he can go off tonight and help us put a stranglehold on the series.

    Good on both Phil and the team for having their priorities right, can imagine a 4th line guy being a little nervous in asking to go during a playoff run; knowing the staff though I bet they kicked him out the door and said « come back with dad strength ».

    He’s evolved into Phil Dad Giuseppe

    I just want to say I’m impressed as a young dad myself that all the comments here are supportive of him being there as partner to his wife and for his new child. This is awesome to see.

    Nice to see the Pizza Man back in action

    The boys are missing out on some solid opportunities by not passing him the puck more. Easily the most underrated and hard working Canuck this postseason.

    The physical weight his wife is no longer carrying should be a huge metaphorical weight off his shoulders now that both are healthy hopefully he’ll be able to have his best performance of the playoffs so far!

    PDG about to dad dick the Oilers tonight.

    PDG channeling MVP mode. New found motivation will surely put an extra spring to his strides.

    Glad everyone is healthy!! Probably was playing with things on his mind a bit. Something happens when you become a new dad, just a bit more jump in your step with everything, hope he has a great game
