Man. Refs have sucked totally lot. They must smoke too much pot… I always think of the use of the roster and the width of the roster. Nucks have done brilliant job. I have very little fandom in the game but just for Shannon, GO NUCKS! GO! 💪 It was a good performance too.
The Oilers aren't better. They just spent the energy of their top players in the first 4 games.
Demko shouldn't start unless/until Canucks advance. For once let him rest, and Silovs deserves to play out this series.

Oilers dominated for about a period and half and then got completely lazy. McDavid and Draisaitl literally watched as their defensmen lost puck battles in their own zone. They didn't join the puck battles, they just coasted. That laziness lost them the game. If the Oilers want to win this series, McDavid and Draisaitl need to be involved in every puck battle.

I missed 2/3 of the game as I was at work and of course my Canucks played their best game of the playoffs.
What a 3rd period tho as I was able to watch that.

I’d start silovs next game. Clearly, what they are doing is working. Throwing demko in right away is rash. If you can win in six with silovs, throw demko in for the next series. If you lose game 6 because of silovs, throw demko in for game 7.
I get that you don't want to complain about the reffing, but it's undeniably becoming a part of this series storyline.

I’m wondering if Edmonton has anyone, aside from Hyman, who actually forechecks in the offensive zone on 5 on 5, because I did not see much of that from anyone else in game 5

Nhls biggest referee struggle thats not the refs fault : half the rule book feels subjective, the other half objective. Much like you talked about in the rule change video, the rules need less grey area. Fans are so accustomed to complaining about grey area that they begin to argue the black and white
Impressive to watch the Oilers’ offense being contained, a strategy that the Kings couldn’t figure out after three playoffs.
I’m more invested in watching the Oilers disappear. That 17-4 second period was high-quality entertainment. Ranks up there with Canucks’ checking sending the Oilers into the bench.

I’m so sick of Vancouver fans heckling the goalie. Not once in these playoffs has an opposing goalie played poorly enough to warrant a goalie heckle chant. Ffs. I swear it just makes them play better….
