It’s slim pickings for outstanding players, we had like what? 17 shots all game?
The only one i feel gets off the hook is Myers for 3min ice time on that 5 on 3 successful PK
Next season, please have Sedins teach PP1 how to actually do it. Tocc, i love you but this ain’t working.

3Rd and 4th line played better than the first 2 lines
Had to leave some brutal truths in this survey. Silovs didn’t play his best game and the reffing was relatively fair (at least when compared to the rest of this series). I think we had Garland and Hughes trying their best but a lot of the plays felt slow by the rest of the team.
All that being said, Canucks in 7.

Through the moment they went up on us there was a 30 minute stretch where we had 5 shots on net with 6 minute of power play time and some that being on a 5 on 3 . The urgency was non existent comparatively to the last game . Hanging on to the puck as much as this team has tonight really limits their chances to score lolol
they played the whole game like it’s some sort of defensive simulation and not a game in which you have a chance to move on to the next round . One of the most embarrassing efforts I’ve seen by any team so far in any of the series .
I don’t know what I just witnessed but honestly i think it’s a bit more clear why a lot of ppl have counted us out with an effort like the one this team just put fourth in a game 6 . Like how do you not get up for a game like this ? Mind boggling . But that’s sports and Edmonton is a really great team . On to the next one .

For the first time the officials got my highest rating.
Honestly my doubts are high that they can close out a game 7 with the effort they have put forth most of these playoffs and generating like next to no shots for almost every game they have played in. They are absolutely pathetic on the PP and it would be in their best interest to open it up to 4v4 but they don’t ever seem to do that. Seems as though they have run out of gas and hit a wall. I guess we find out Monday.
Obviously it wasn’t enough but I really respect Soucy’s hustle, especially when he took a huge dive to try and keep that goal that bounced slow-mo off of Šilovs out of the net.
Zadorov is my MVP because he finally gave Kane a fraction of what he deserves.
