Someone’s gotta remake this meme without a certified pedo on it lol

Yup, « Canada » wasn’t on our side in 2011 (except Montreal). Canucks or nothing, with exceptions for Montreal and Winnipeg who didn’t have a team again at that point.

I hope the Oilers get swept in the most embarrassing manner possible. I hope we see crying McDrai pics.

I hope the Oilers face the most brutal sweep in NHL history. As for the championship, I don’t have any beef with Slovakia but I gotta root for my country obviously.

With so maNy Americans on our roster, while I’ll always cheer for Canada in international competitions, in a best on best between Canada and the us I would have a soft spot for the us that wasn’t there before lol as long as Hughes, Miller and demko are on the roster 🤣

Fuck those diving fucks. Go Stars. I’m pulling for the Gaglardis

  6. Anishinabeg

I wouldn’t cheer for Edmonton against anyone except Chicago.

No way would I ever cheer for any Canadian team to win it other than the Canucks. Why would you want some other team to be the first to win it in 31 years? I am cheering for Dallas hard. They are mostly a likeable team other than Benn and Seguin.

  8. WestandLeft

I referred to Dallas as Canada’s team in r/nhl and the Edmonton folks were….unhappy.

It will be a cold day in hell before I cheer for any of the other Canadian teams to win the cup.

It took 2 of the best players in the league to beat the Canucks by 1 goal in 7 games when the Canucks are playing their 3rd string goalie without the regular season leading scorer.

Dallas is going to to sweep them.

  12. Say what you will about Tavares but the guy shows up for Team Canada pretty much every time he can, and he brings that NHL star power to the IIHF roster.

    He’s like Rick Nash.
