I wouldn't quite panic yet, but I am a little concerned. Just need to make the right adjustments. The effort needs to improve, and we need to make it difficult for the Panthers to generate offense. We also need to throw all pucks on net. Give Rempe a go at it. He'll spark the team and really get MSG going. Game 2 or bust!

How pathetic. Sherstekin screwed with that soft ass goal he gave up and then the stupid decision to come out and play the puck. Offense was non existent. We are not physical enough, we don't cycle, we try to be too cute. It's time to play ugly hockey but it won't happen.
I think the Rangers think they can wait for opportunities, rather than creating. Victory through attrition. Not going to be the case this series. They need to generate offense.

It’s one game. Nobody expects a sweep. Got to set the tone. It’s how hard you can handle getting hit, then getting back up.
This was the Panthers’ easiest game of the playoffs. If the Rangers don’t get dirty and greasy, this series is over. Problem is Rangers dont know how to play dirty. Maybe Rempe helps but he only gets 4 minutes playing time a game. Need the top players to muck it up.

He is absolutely right about execution. I've watched this team all season and the playoffs and sometimes they drive me nuts with the stupid passes they make. I can get a feel for how they're going to play when they make those dumb passes in their zone the help the other team keep the puck in and offensively when they don't make passes that can get through. Game 2 has to be much better execution wise.
