    >> First of all, I would like to thank Jeremy Colliton and Gary Agnew

Gary Agnew is out as well.

So was Colliton fired or mutual so he can find an opportunity elsewhere where he has a shot at becoming head coach in the NHL?

Abby will never lose a face off ever again

It’s incredible how well the 2010-11 « main » group has integrated themselves into remaining in or around the NHL in their post-career lives. Bieksa on the panel, Sedins/Higgins/Malhotra in the org, Burrows assistant coach, Luongo with the Panthers.

Manny, please work with the NHL guys to further improve their faceoff skills this summer

I’ll always maintain that 2011 could’ve been different without his eye injury. So happy he’s back. Abby may never lose a faceoff again.

An unexpected surprise, but certainly not an unwelcome one.

Happy to see Manny back. I know some Leafs fans weren’t super high on his special teams coaching as an assistant but this is an awesome opportunity for him to grow his coaching resume.

Sucks to see Jeremy Colliton move on as I thought he was a pretty good coach for Abbotsford, but I also get it completely. I’m sure he looks at the state of coaching in the league right now and how many guys are losing their jobs and is hoping to land a better gig, and since it seems like Tocchet isn’t going anywhere anytime soon it makes more sense for him to go somewhere he can either be an assistant or be the AHL guy ready to step in when the NHL coach is canned.

I will say too, I did feel like the systems in Abbotsford were getting a little stale, especially the powerplay (sound familiar) so I’m glad to see they’re moving on from Gary Agnew as well, since I’m pretty sure he was in charge of that and he was a long time holdover from the Utica days so it’ll be exciting to bring some fresh blood
