Are we supposed to forget what Hughes said about Pearson. He didnt think it was handled right. That's him stepping up and saying wtf is the team doing. Now we have a star player playing through an injury, and it's Oh Petey wanted to play through it, and he was in a contract year. I could be reading between the wrong lines, but it's not like the Canjcks didn't bungle Pearsons hand injury. They bungled Demko's and maybe Pettersson's knee injury. Im seeing a pattern. It could be they want to play and are pretending to be 100% or what is maybe just as likely. They're rushed back into the lineup and are reinjuring themselves. The Canucks need to protect their best players. If I see Demko playing 80 % of the games next year, and he gets injured again I'm going to be pissed.
