@Blue Jackets de Columbus

Hoping that means JD is gone too.

Let’s fucking go. Bring Tulsky on as gm

Im a very homer fan and really only watch the Jackets and ECF/WCF/Stanley Cup, so no idea of this guy outside of he was in Carolina and Atlanta so really just both ends of the spectrum. Someone tell me how to feel.

In other news JD has been promoted to President of the President of Hockey Operations

Don’t love Waddell but he is a hot step above the other rumored options

Might they actually get this right????

Canes have been my second favorite team for 7-8 years because of the way they draft and develop in a small market. I’d be so fucking hyped on this if it happens.

Also an amazing fanbase like ours that is just hungry for a winner.

Let’s fucking go. Every other name was making me real nervous.

I’m happy with that. So he’d be PoHO, taking over JD’s job? I’d assume JD is going to retire.

Wonder who they’ll find as a GM.

I feel… relief. Not joy yet. Just relief right now.

Which is a nice change from how the Jackets usually make me feel the last few years.

If it comes to be, hopefully it can bring us out of these dark ages. The cherry on top would be Priest leaving as well. I would love a full exorcism of anyone involved with the operations of the jackets for anything longer than 5 years ago

Now go get Darche or steal Tulsky away from Carolina. Don’t stop here Columbus, I’m so close!

Arguably best case scenario. Hope they get it done.

Funny how last week we had dudes insisting that Holland was definitely gonna be our next GM (and how terrible it would be for our franchise!!! 🤓🤓🤓), and now this week we’ve got alternating updates from Friedman and LeBrun over the past couple of days detailing Waddell’s path toward our front office.

Very exciting news, and based on comments I’ve read from Canes fans, he seems like not only a guy that can put together a super solid team, but also a guy that is willing to listen to the input of others, with the bonus of having positive interactions with fans, too. If it’s all true, seems like he’ll be an amazing fit here in Columbus.

A hire that we don’t have to spend several months trying to talk ourselves into? Is this allowed?

If this is true, i’m happy with that.

I think it is a very solid hire. Canes are built through player development through the draft. Now he gets his choice of GM and Head Coach.
