Nurse and Ceci terrible – no support. A 9.5 million Nurse who is -12 in these playoffs = launch into the sun. Ceci no good either – but less waste of money. Bench Nurse for remainder of playoffs gives the team a chance – he has burned the Oilers in every post season series

Seems that this is an arrogant franchise that feels they can get by without a full 60 minute effort.
I've said it many times and I'll continue to say it. Oilers have incredible talent on their team, but they rely too much on a select few. It is the EXACT same problem TOR has… Hockey is one of the few sports that has to rely on ALL lines to win it all. There has NEVER been a team to win the cup relying on 1-2 or even 3 lines. Every champion has won it with all lines and goalie cooperating.
Oilers are riding on the back of McDavid and Draisaitl and a little of Hyman's finishing. At one point vs COL McDavid and Draisaitl played 30 minutes… That can never be a thing, if it is, the team has problems with depth and that will be their downfall just as TOR.
Dallas are for real oilers better play 60 minutes no period off or the series is over for oilers

I watched games 3 thru 7 of the Vancouver Edmonton series, what a joke. It was like I was watching Tier 2 hockey compared to the Stars games I was watching.
Oilers have two of the best players in the world, but that does not make then a good TEAM.

Oilers when playing are the best team. Look how they can dominate. And they have to inorder to keep skinner and nurse unexposed. We see what happens when they are asked to make plays…Nurse isnt even facing the play. Nor is skinner!
Of the 4 starting goalies no one would pick Skinner to be their guy!

Oilers always decide after a few goals that they are going to win, instead keeping up the pressure. They have to look in the mirror because it is between their ears that has to change!

Game 4 is always the game the Stars demoralize the other team. Id expect that continues, all the pressure is on the Oilers. Game 4 is essentailly do or die for them
I thought they had it when Henrique tied it up that was perfect for the momentum shift, Oilers need to keep the foot on the gas and need to keep a lead just bad defense on those goals. They gotta play a full 60 minutes and i believe they can do that they’ve proven before they can.

I think that Edmonton did a favor to Vancouver because the Canucks weren't ready enough (they're not strong enough) to seriously give Dallas a challenge — they would have gotten totally smoked. What a poor series that would have been, I believe. 😮. Also, Vancouver gave Dallas a favor by helping Edmonton get burnt out. Edmonton had no trouble taking care of LA, but it wasn't easy for them against Vancouver. Game #6 was the easiest, but the others were decided by one goal. (Am I correct?). I'm not going to say that Edmonton is done, but I do think they look tired.

Défence wins championship! The Oilers are not strong enough in defence to win. This is why they will lose the series. Dallas beat Colorado a similar team the same way.
