Frustrating last two games as a NYR fan. They show flashes of being able to control play, then magically they look like a beer league team.
Baffling. Florida is talented, quick, and confident. Rangers can match that, but it was always going to be a battle.

9:55 deserve this? Really? How? That’s a pretty bad way of putting it. Rangers almost scored with Mika to go up 2-0 in the first then tied it up in the 3rd. Igor was a brick wall. He let in 2 soft goals within a 4 minute span and was lights out otherwise. Why do the panthers “deserve” this. I think it’s actually quite the opposite and other way around 100% tenfold and I’m not even saying that with bias as a fan. If you watched the same game you can’t tell me the rangers didn’t deserve to win this game either…… the rangers deserved to win tonight more than ever and I don’t even believe the dumb “deserve to win” bs. But if anyone deserved to win tonight it was Igor and the rangers.
DISGRACEFUL play from yours truly MIKA and TROUBA. God these 2 are bad. Trouba should be benched and Mika needs to remember how to play hockey be more physical and grow a pair already.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the winner of this series is going to end up bringing home the Cup. The level of play I've seen coming out of both the Rangers and the Panthers is noticeably above what I've seen out of the Stars/Oilers series. I'm not saying the SCF will be a one-sided slaughter by any means, but it's going to be an uphill battle for either of the Western teams to keep up with either of these Eastern teams for a full seven-game series.
Just realised the New York Rangers have 4 Stanley Cups. 98 years of history and only 4 Stanley Cups. No wonder their fans are worried about Vegas 😂.

Lol, Rangers fans crying about refs is hilarious, i thought they wouldnt be as bad as Bruins fans, but yes they are.
Florida is the most penalized team in the playoffs, and CLEARLY most penalized of the remaining teams. You are crying after every contact and if you lose you are using that as an excuse. If you win you all are like "HAHAHAHA F THE PANTHERS LOL THEY SUCK" etc…
Even if i was a neutral hockey fan. I could say that Panthers has been so much stronger and better team in every aspect, except goaltending. Bob has been very good, Igor has been lights out. Last two games, there has been OVER 30 MINUTES in total, when Rangers hasnt had one single shot on goal. Panthers deserved that win, no doubt. Igor deserves more, because he has been phenomenal, but the rest of the Rangers team, definitely deserves nothing with that kind of playing. Laf has been good tho. But Florida has been overall much better. And its not even close.

If you're not a fan of either team but a fan of hockey in general this is a great series. If you are a fan of either team, of which I am a Rangers fan, this is stressful as hell to watch 😛 But fun.
Hurricanes are better than both of these teams. Not the goalie obviously but the team overall
Really fun game. These playoffs are great. And Reinhart is adding $250k to his salary demands with every goal. The kid is gonna get paid.
Man, I don’t know how Florida maintains such control in the o zone like that. They’re generally bigger so they win the battles on the boards but they cycle and pinch so well. Meanwhile the Rangers rarely have much time in the o zone. It’s really a miracle the series is 2-2. And they were almost up 3-1! I’m not a coach but they gotta do something different because I don’t see how they win this series getting dominated offensively like this.
Florida is such a menace in OT. NY should be glad this is tied.
Is it just me but it seemed that the Sportsnet commentary was very biased to the Rangers at the beginning of the game? They made it sound as if the Rangers scored on a powerplay the series was over.
