  1. You don’t get outplayed all the way to the Finals. There’s a reason why the Rangers are where they are at. Who cares how many more shots the opposing team takes. All that matters is the shots that go in the net. And Rangers are winning in that category. The Goalie is a big part of a team and ours is playing lights out. Everyone said Carolina outplayed the Rangers too.Where are they now?

  2. I don't think the Rangers have been lucky. I think they were clearly outplayed in the 3rd and part of OT but overall, it has been even (according to Moneypucks). Analytics do not capture everything that happens and one of the biggest flaws is it assumes the goalie is average. Well guess what? We have a world class goalie playing his best hockey. How do you account for that? Plus the shots we are putting on net are quality. I don't think Bob could have done anything to the goals we scored. Just looking at last game, Laffy had two break away goals, Goodrow with a deflection in front and a snipe on the dot, and Wennberg was all by himself with no one around him within 15 feet. He could've had a couple of whacks if the puck did not go in.

  3. No team left in the playoffs has the depth of the Rangers. That’s just a fact. They have four lines that can score. That depth is a result of years of trades, good draft picks (accept for Kakko, although props for the play that got the puck to Lindgren and Wennberg). The Rangers are 10-3 in the playoffs. That’s crazy that the Islanders who haven’t played in a month still have more losses. Ditch Trouba. Bring back Zac Jones.

  5. I'm an honest Ranger fan, Florida has totally dominated this series so far. The canes series was more evenly matched and Carolina was gaining steam. The Rangers won't win this series if their defense doesn't wake up. Miller and Trouba have been terrible. Igor has been our savior.

  6. why does no one talk about the dirty play to take out Vesey from the playoffs? And also the Oscar award acting by Panthers with main actor Rodiriguez?

  7. Its just a different strategy… work hard or work smart. Whats the point of out working someone for no payoff?

  8. Lets be honest, this is why you need an elite goalie, this is why you have elite goalie on you roster – he should steal you games in playoffs and Shesty does exactly that. He outplayed every goalie in this playoffs so far that Rangers faced. Can you imagine Shesty on Avs or Oilers? That would be dynasty teams…

  9. This lucky talk is BS. In sports, anything can happen for both teams that can make a game go one way or another. This is why the games are played. Bad breaks, lucky bounces happen. Otherwise just put the stats into a computer and let the computer decide who wins. How many games were won by teams this year that got “lucky” or because a team lost because a shot hit a post and missed by an inch. Did those games not count? And if the answer to this question is yes, they got lucky then who cares. Everyone does at some point.

  10. Rangers fan here. There’s absolutely no denying that the goaltending is saving the skaters asses and that is why the series is where it is. The skaters for florida outplayed the rangers skaters, but the goaltending was heavily in reverse.

  11. Little bit of both. Lucky we are up 2-1 with our stars not showing up. Resilient because we have Igor.
