Alors… qui voulons-nous parmi le choix de la Floride ? Besoin d’un peu plus d’élaboration de théorie maintenant que le top 15 a été analysé à gauche et à droite

Then next year use it, our first, the Colorado and Columbus picks to move up and get a 1C in a deep Center draft
Obviously that would free us up to get a sweet 1D this year at 12 in a deep D draft.
Don’t swim against the current.
Don’t fight the feeling.

Most draft years, there’s at least one guy that is a consensus top talent but drop to the late first or second round for a variety of reasons but primarily because they are a bit undersized (e.g. Konecny, debrincat, stankoven, etc.). Based on everything I’ve read and seen, that appears to be Nikita Artamonov this year.

Pull some black magic and get Michael Misa.

Surin and Chernyshov both have a good shot at landing there and would both be awesome picks, probably the two guys I’d most realistically hope for come draft day.
Badinka, O’Reilly, Sahlin Wallenius, Freij all seem like somewhat realistic options for that pick that I’d be happy to get too.
Artamonov is great and I’d be more than happy to land him, but I only see us taking him if we end up with one of Yakemchuk or Buium at 12.
In particular, the only sorts of guys I’d hope they avoid are big high floor/low ceiling Centers, namely Boisvert Beaudoin and Miettinen to name a few

I don’t think we will use it. I think it will be used in some trade.

Trade it for a late first in 2025.
