I mean, Alfie as an assistant coach, especially one without a specific portfolio, sounds very good. Something similar to the player development role he was doing before but more formalized and on a slightly broader basis, combined with a bit of insulation if they need a wholesale change in the coaching staff, might be the right balance on keeping him that close to the role.
If Mike Yeo was running the PP for Vancity.. WTF would you hire him?? It was awful against Edmonton, horrendous with flanks up against the wall, the puck moving around outside the dots the whole time. God I hope that isn’t accurate.
