Extremely exciting for EDM & McD to represent Cda in the Cup Final !!!! 10 shots is concerning- is it difficulty with puck control – likely need better stick-handling & passing… as FLA will hound EDM on the forecheck like crazy – workhorses Scoring is the toughest thing, & McD got them 2 (w Hyman). McD can't be underestimated – without him they don't score at all, allowing them to sit back.
Am concerned w the Bennett vs McLeod match-up on courage and tenacity etc
Kane & Foeg or Holloway & Nuge – will need to pick it up a bit, to score w Reinhard/Verhaege- but GoOilers, we can do it!

3. Tkachuk and Maurice ran away to Eastern conference to flee McDavid, nightmare for them.
4. Skinner coming into his own, finally. He's the main key. But he's ready now.

I've messed up my sleeping pattern in the last 11 months and I started a new job so I think I got 3 hours of sleep.
I honestly feel the exact same about the final as i felt about the stars series before it started. Florida is obviously the favourite but thats what makes the oilers so dangerous. Theres so much pressure on the oilers that they really thrive in the underdog role. Oilers will win the cup in 7. Also: we never lost a single game when i stayed up to watch. I will ofc watch every single game in the final so a sweep is possible😎😂

My dad brought me up as an Oilers fan. So I've been a fan since '86. I remember the 90's where the oilers were just rolling off the power-house era, and then the crazy lead up to the 2006 run, and the subsequent heartbreak.
We've all been waiting a long time for this. I'm so thankful to be able to watch and experience this run with my Dad still around. It's been a blessing to be able to reconnect with him over this season, as we've had a slightly estranged relationship for most of my adult years.
Here's hoping we bring this home. Let's Go Oilers!!!

I have a question for everyone. Does the Oilers have the 3 best forwards this playoffs in Hyman McDavid and Draisital and the best defenseman in Bouchard? I think this is the year. 2021 was an absolute fluke. This wasn't at all.
Been an oilers fan since grade 4/5 in 06/08, i don't really watch hockey other then in restaurants, but last year i watched the oilers go against Vegas, then started watching almost every game since end of January.
Im so excited we are going to the finals, Skinner has been great the whole team is great. I feel people are too critical over mistakes etc.
A bit worried about going against the Panthers but i just have a strong feeling this is the year the cup comes back home to Canada

Out of all the smaller Oilers channels, yours is the only one that I watch every time. It makes me wish that I could see a panel with you and dolony + the fanatic because you all bring something different to the table but it's tough to watch all the content with so much crossover in the writing.
What does Edmonton win before the Stanley Cup series begins? Most likely just appearing in the finals means Connor & Leon sign long term extensions & finish their career in Edmonton. All any player can ask for from team management is to build a team that can get them into the finals. Now it’s all on the players to win it. It took awhile but Edmonton has finally succeeded at building a Cup capable team around Connor & Leon. For that we should be thankful.

Played a lot of hockey growing up but this is my first year following any team in any sport. Started watching during the winning streak.
What impresses me more than the oilers making it to the final is that you can talk for 30 minutes straight basically every day without stuttering once or cutting the video at any point
