@Penguins de Pittsburgh

1. what about lindhom or jgp as 3rdline center since there both good two way center

  2. It seems like for at least the past 20ish years the Bruins and the Rangers have had some of, if not THE best goaltending in the league whereas the Penguins (outside of a few seasons including the back to back cups) have had goaltending that is anywhere from inconsistent (during the Fleury years) to arguably even poor these past few years. Even Fleury, a first ballot hall of famer, didn't seem to reach his full potential with the Pens and instead had some of his best seasons including the Vezina winning one with the Golden Knights. Obviously its going to be a combination of these factors, but how much of this do you think is coaching/development vs. the quality of our drafting vs. the defensive structures our team has employed over the years?

  3. Sid,Gino,Matt D and Eller as your centers that would be the deepest 4 centers in the league not happening though

  4. I feel like there are probably a lot of players like Sid who just don't have lives outside of hockey that would make juicy content for this documentary. I'm okay with that. I've never been interested in getting into people's personal lives, so I doubt I'll watch the show. But it may help dispel some misconceptions or stereotypes about hockey players for people who don't know anything. So, that's good. I just wonder how many people who have never watched hockey are going to watch this and think Trouba is an amazing, sensitive artist cuz he paints.

  5. Considering the general consensus that we need a new 3C and that Eller would be a great 4C. Why not trade Eller (and acciari while you’re at it) and put that 2.45 Mil (or 4.45 mil with Acciari) towards a boarder line top 6 level 3C (succession wise a player who could play 2C someday with Malkin on wing) and put Gruden, Ponomarayev, Poulin etc as your 4C at league minimum. Thats not all this team needs but that’s a minimum start in my opinion (AT LEAST one legit top 6 winger is the other bare minimum, preferably two but that would be hard without moving Jarry or Petterson which opens another gap, considering how hard it would be to move Rakell or Graves. I think it’s worth moving Pickering to say you actually tried to get Crosby and Malkin another cup but I don’t think Dubas sees it that way)

  6. Great show, gentlemen. I find it interesting that you do not want to stump the development of Joel Blomqvist, but you do not feel the same way about stumping the development of our young center prospects. If we sign a center this off-season, then we would have five veterans ahead of Yager, Ponomarev, Poulin and Broz. That is too many. Most Pens fans seem to want a center this off-season, but our prospect pool suggests we should open up a spot for one of the aforementioned four. Just my opinion. And for the record, I don't want to stump Blomqvist either! Jarry (or other), Blomqvist, Larsson and Murashov (sign him!) should be our G depth next season. See what happens.

  7. Gotta get younger if the younger guys are better and/or at better cap hits than the older guys we'd bring in. Otherwise, no thanks.
    Harkins was 26 last year. What did his youth do for the Pens? Nothing.

  8. I'd love to see goaltenders involved in the Amazon series. For the Pens, I agree with Puljujarvi or Bunting, as forwards, Karlsson and Letang have big presences on social media, but I'd also like to see St. Ivany or Ludvig (especially if he talks about the hit where he knocked himself out.), and Jarry or Ned…the good, the bad, and the ugly.

  9. I wonder who the GMs are that have been inquiring about Jarry's availability. I could see a few of the Atlantic Division teams, LA, and maybe, Colorado or Seattle being interested.
