Take the C off Trouba's jersey with a chainsaw and send him, Roslovic, and Kakko to the sun. Mika's horrific contract will most likely keep him here, but he better not even sniff that 1C next season. Make the Bread Troch Laf line your actual first line instead of just calling it that. Laf on PP1, Jones in the lineup. Couple guys that I forgot to launch into oblivion: 91, and 56. Thats all I got for now. Just started tuning in to your channel; look forward to catching a full season with ya next year.
This pain is too familiar for anyone lucky to see 1994, a fanbase that endured 54 years (or whatever piece they were alive for) of pain and disappointment. Now, 30 years on, the wait is once again generational, so I say SALUTE TO THE FANS & LETS GO RANGERS.
Hurts more because Florida is the best team in the league and if we had just scored in OT in game 4 we’re singing a different tune. I don’t think e would have blown a 3-1 Lead. Florida is going to steamroll whoever comes out of the west. PAIN
I'm done with hockey and the Rangers for at least one season if not more. I don't care what moves they make and who they get next. It won't matter. Literally everything I own with a Rangers logo is going in boxes and in storage. I'm absolutely disgusted by how badly this team seems to not want to win a cup. Igor deserves better and I actually hope he requests a trade as soon as his contract is up. I will always be a fan of his and he needs to get on a better team if he wants to win a cup. As always it's all quit in New York in the playoffs. Sam Rosen called it in 94 when he said "This one will last a lifetime"….. Only it looks like that one is going to last a couple of lifetimes. Seems like no matter how much talent is on this roster they're just completely incapable of winning a Stanley Cup
Artemi Panarin is an above-average regular-season player. (I originally wrote, that he’s a great regular-season player). But two of those 30+ goals (32-49) regular-season have been with the Rangers. His average is in the high 20s, but when the playoffs start? He disappears? That’s a major problem! There’s going to be changes this offseason.
Moving Kreider would be a mistake, he only makes 6.5m and has been worth that if not more every year he’s played
Trouba was very concerning, out of position often. Unfortunately he has a full no trade. I also agree lingren should not be resigned.

I really thought the Rangers were going to get it done. When I saw Panarin turn away from a hit and throw the puck weekly off the boards developing into a Florida scoring chance I knew we were in trouble. The trade deadline deals were a waste, Laviolette not rolling 4 lines and Panarin not showing up and playing very soft did us in.
Maybe Florida is just a bit better…😂

GG Rangers. Panther fan here. I knew this series wasn't gonna be easy and would include a bunch of OTs. It took years off my life. You'll be back in the playoffs next year. The future ain’t as bleak as it feels for you all right now. #GOCATSGO
I said it all season and I will say it again the Rangers are too soft to win a stanley cup, the core of this team is not physical at all and the make up of the team is on the soft side, this team hit its ceiling and cannot go further then the east finals and if they were not gifted a lucky awful first round opponent lke Washington if they would have played Pittsburgh it might have went 7 there, this team has no physicality aside from Rempe.
Our wins were both in OT. We were out shot nearly every game, sometimes by a wide margin. It wasn't so much our stars not showing up, but rather the D of the Panthers smothering them. If you're in the 'boo-hoo' kind of mode, I think you have to ask yourself why you didn't see this coming. Igor was phenomenal. Lafreniere had a great series. All of our guys played hard. The Panthers are a tough team to beat.

I agree i don’t think we can win until trouba is gone. They STILL need a top line RW, we not winning till that’s addressed either, 2nd overall RW but he doesn’t fucking produce😂🤦🏽♂️
Love your passion Evan. Rangers fan since late 70s. Agree with a few takes. Drury is handcuffed bc of Goryons NMC deals. Trouba buy out must happen. Move on from Kakko. We're never going to fin a RW1 with how BFFs play together. Drury is t going anywhere and I don't want him to. He did all he could with the space available this past deadline. Dubas would never send Gentzel to NY bc of our rivalry. I wish would could have found a way to get Vatrano but I don't think he wanted to come back. Until next year

facts.. Rangers had an amazing season and got to final 4. we were supposed to be like 3rd in division not pres trophy winners. i know it hurts and I'm pissed. there will be changes, but not the major ones everybody wants. too many no move clauses and buying out trouba will still hurt this cap issue
10,93,20 didnt show up…. leave fox alone for ow, he was hurt. he is still top 3 or 4 dman in league. had a geat season and fell short. lingren wont be back at the price he will want. need to retool back end.
Rangers fan since 1968. Feeling the pain. I've gone through year after year. I knew this was going to be a tough series. Igor kept them alive. Panthers were a better team. Kudos to them.
I think need to keep Mika, Kreider, Panarin, and need something where play with structure with players fit system for what looking for . Need two way player on D and can’t depend on 1 line everytime … I do believe after this will do drastic changes and I hope don’t waste Igor life and what he has given … 936goal percentage, need trouba not to be Captain. Lot of changes hopefully do right thing management…
The Rangers greatest strength is also their biggest weakness….. goaltending. Rangers have been blessed with amazing goaltending for YEARS… and the team relies too heavily on that… they play soft because Igor will “save the day”. They should have taken the safety net away by starting Quick in game 4.
Same in 2014 when Lundqvist was hurt… the team played their asses off in front of Talbot cause the “safety net” was gone.

The Rangers are a soft team, which in reality is not built to win a Cup. They are a "sexy" regular season team, where opposing teams give you a little more room to play with, and where a team like the Rangers thrive, with players who love to make the pretty passes, and get the pretty goals. In the playoffs, in a 7 game series against a tough, physical opponent, those pretty passes and goals are hard to come by, and this is where the Rangers continue to come up small. They need to get bigger up front, get bigger on defense, forget about these players who are only good regular season guys, and build a team with size and toughness, a team that will not be physically dominated in the playoffs. Just like the Rangers of 1994 did, trading away Tony Amonte, Mike Gartner and others, and bringing in players like Glenn Anderson, Craig McTavish, Matteau, Noonan, etc. Guys that need to get dirty in those grueling and tough playoff series. We already have a world class goalie in Igor, so let's not waste the opportunity to win the Cup soon. Changes must be made!!
