My feeling is that it will be hard to move Holl. I certainly don't want a buyout though. I still think we have too many third pair D and frankly someone like Matt Roy could be brought in. Husso, if we decide to move him we would have to retain salary. I agree with Gustavsson though and Lyon could very well be your back up. Petry hopefully will get moved but could be your 7th D. We need to address our D Buschy. Goaltending should be better but the D too many question marks. We need a physical D like Zadorov. If we cannot sign Kane, do you bring in Stamkos as your second line C

This is roster not realism and if Steve Yzerman did this I would want him fired. 9.4 million committed to 3 goalies and the goalie you want to acquire is just another iteration of Nedeljkovic and Husso? No thanks. Either upgrade the goaltending or take the risk of running it back with Husso and Lyon. Improving the blue line is more important than having better stability in net. They desperately need a 2nd pair right shot defenseman who can take some of the though minutes from Moritz Seider. This would allow him to be able to replace some of the 5 on 5 offense they lose from not re-signing Shayne Gostisbehere.
One thing us wings fans aren't realizing that we are obsessing over our youth that are currently kicking ass in the AHL. But we have to remember that these guys cannot play together in the future. We will always need a balance of youth and vets in NHL level. So that would mean dont be surprised if Yzerman will start sending his prospects for future picks or a future immediate star to come in a 1C. I will be sad if we gave up Mazur Wallinder Soderblom Kasper Shai Buim but sometimes its the reality.
