Do you remember salute-gate?
I've never booed my team, Ownership, the GM, Manager and Coaches are the one's who need to do better. The players are always playing to win, nobody wants to be traded, sent down to the minors or be released. You should boo the visiting team. Boo ownership for ticket prices and poor management of the ballclub, but not the players on the hometeam. Both Lindor and Baez are fine, they're not new to the Big Leagues. This has nothing to do with how long they've been in New York. It's a talented team, I'll continue supporting the Mets. There's no booing the hometeam in Latin Baseball, keep in mind these are the players who represent a big segment of the Majors today. We shouldn't put a big emphasis how Baez comment was said or misunderstood Baez like they did Clemente in Pittsburgh. Imagine if all the hometeam fans in the Majors booed every team not in contention, that wouldn't be very cool. As a Fan, I have no problem with Baez thumbs down gesture. No reason to apologize.
