D’après son entrevue de départ, il est facile de voir que Markstrom préférerait ne pas revenir à Calgary la saison prochaine. Cela devrait être intéressant de voir où il finit et ce que nous récupérons pour lui.

Feel like Ottawa could give the best package for him (and likely improve the most with him) but wasn’t sure if he would waive for there. Happy they’re in the picture.

Who actually wants to play for Calgary anymore? Feels like the flames are going to need some additional incentives for players to want to play here. I guess the other problem is the taxation structure in Canada in general with athletes rightly determining that they can net more money over their career in some American states. The amount of players asking to leave seems to be on the wrong trajectory in the last few seasons
And he could’ve been playing for the oilers. Smh.

People are over valuing Mangiapne big time. He’s frankly something we may have to pay to move at this point.
