Career playoff dud, not really something that I would love to give up future assets for. Plus the fact that he’s an expiring contract I think we should stay away. Really the playoff performances from him over the years really sour him as a player for me.

Already 28 and has never scored more than 30 goals. Not a ppg player. We have a roster littered with these guys. We have to get younger and faster. Why trade picks when we have no good prospects? It’s not difficult. Use your picks to get young players. Develop them and they eventually crack the lineup. And if they suck, get rid of them.
it’s just hard for any team to trade with winnipeg, especially our players. most of them have nmc or at least half nmc and i’d be willing to bet they all have winnipeg on the list
