   Again its mind games. It was an obvious dirty hit. They want the league to look at it. If hes concussed hes not playing. Hairline jaw fracture? He’ll bubble up and get pain management. I dont think Barky sits because of that.

   We’re not going to know if his CT is clear lol. Does the league announce a player in protocol or ONLY the team?

   Here is a link to the nhl concussion protocol. The way I read it, a player after being tested for a concussion can either pass, be diagnosed with a concussion or be undetermined. If undetermined they will continue to evaluate that player for 24-48 to see if symptoms develop. If they do he is placed in concussion protocol which has 5 stages, each of which takes 24 hours minimum. When Maurice says we need another 24 hours I would say we are waiting to see if symptoms develop and if not he could be cleared to go.
