This series is over. Edmonton doesn't have a prayer in hell. They would have to change the entire way they play, in order to win 4 of 5 against this FLA team, and that just isn't going to happen successfully.
In all honesty, I still feel they were lucky to get past Vancouver, roster issues for the Canucks, helping them along the way. It's just the way it is. It's been fun to see them go this far, but they don't have a chancel in this series.
Draisaitl likely is dealt at the deadline next year, as they aren't going to have two McDavid contracts on their books, which is what Draisaitl is going to want, and who knows if McDavid stays when his contract is up, if Draisaitl leaves? The McDavid – Draisaitl era, is likely over. They failed to get it done.
Also, Draisaitl should be suspended for that hit to Barkov. No shocker the league gave him nothing. Brutal, cowardly play, and I won't defend it, just because he's on my team. Guy should be embarrassed.
Panthers complaints about a dirty hit are laughable, they get away with more nonsense than I’ve ever seen. They should have about 15 holding the stick penalties in every game.

DOPS can and should at least impose their token fine: it’s not alright to jump into a player elbow to the head. A $5k fine to Leon would be like you or I getting fined $20, so it would just be symbolic. Guys are gonna get stretchered off, and some may never be the same.
