   I doubt any playoff team in the last 5 years is worried about cap friendly being bought.

   There’s apparently a majority of teams that really relied on capfriendly for contract data. The only teams that have an internal system is Seattle, New Jersey, Carolina, Chicago, Islanders, Toronto, Columbus, Pittsburgh (just started building one because of Dubas), and Vegas. And now the Caps.
