Certainly looked like he was injured, especially in the Florida series
Dig-Duglett
not surprising.
don’t know if it would’ve changed the result but i truly think we would’ve looked A LOT better if he was 100%. his blue line play on the forecheck is amongst the best in the league.

Was at the game, my heart dropped. Knew immediately he was gonna be damaged for however long the playoffs run would continue, but man was he hampered by midway through the Canes series. Oh well
SmokyMetal060
Yeah, figures. I was waiting for them to announce what was up with him. He didn’t have his usual speed, skating looked shaky, and he seemed to be playing with a lot less confidence.

Figured he was injured
Cute-Escape2751
He was still one of our better defensemen, which says a lot about both him and the rest of our defense.

There was clearly something wrong, but still no excuse for ZERO playoff goals since the 21-22 season

We could all see it, included Florida, who blitzed him on every power play.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, even the ESPN crew that said between rounds that he could hopefully rest up in time for the next round. We all know it came from that Caps hit, and all we’ve been waiting for is to hear how bad the damage was.

So wait…is shoulder WASNT falling off? Sportsnet swore his shoulder had a significant injury!!

I sprained mine skiing in march, dont know if it was mild or not but it didnt break. It was insanely painful and I couldnt walk properly for weeks. Been fully healed since mid may but it still hurts. Cant imagine playing the highest level in sports with it…

It’s part of the game but it really sucks how impactful they can be. Even a smaller role player like Vesey significantly impacted our PK.
But every team deals with injuries – we hear about the war stories every offseason. Gotta find a way.

You could tell because Adam Fox always does these frequent spins when he’s QBing the PP and during the playoffs he hardly did that.
Formisonic
It was obvious he wasn’t 100%. He is the most integral part of our transition game, and 20-93 is much more of a transition or counter attack style pair, so trying to revert to a cycling down-low style was unsuccessful.

What was Zibanejad’s injury? Broken taint?
Mr-Dicklesworth
So glad him and Trouba played at >50% rather than have Jones and Chad play. Very useful having the depth and not using it at all
Trajinous
This means Fox is « selfish toolbag » that put himself ahead of the team! Am I doing this outrage right?

Mollie Walker is so much better than Emily Kaplan
Robo504
I am amazed that the man has never had an nhl fight.
