Guenztel and Zadorov
Guentzel is the missing piece for our forward group, and I just like watching Zadorov better than Hronek. The latter was not able to sustain his pace for the entire season.
Hronek and Guentzel. Easy.
Ya Zadorov was good in the playoffs but you got to get there first and Hronek is a guy that will help with that.

Giving Pettersson an elite winger keeping the guy who helped elevate Hughes to the Norris favorite is far more important than another LD when we already have Hughes and Soucy.
Depends on their outrageous contract demands…i’d take any of them who want to play here for less than market value

But everything we hear about the Hronek situation indicates his only motivating factor is getting the fattest contract he can get, so that scares me.

Assuming that none of these are crazy overpays that ruin the team building, I pick the sniper for Petey and Hughes’ running mate. But I do like Zadorov

From left to right is best to worst. Come on guys, Hronek is a better defender than Zadorov. I know Z has a great playoffs, but over the entire regular season, Hronek was more impactful.
If reports are true Z wants close to $6M, there’s no way you choose him over Hronek.
Hronek and Zadorov
I like our odds of rounding out the forward group with our prospects or depth UFAs better than our odds of finding an RHD who will have the chemistry with Hughes that Hronek has shown or a guy like Zadorov who brings all the tools he has to our #3-6 d group.

For as bad as Hronek was in the playoffs and as much as I adore Zadorov I think people are really undervaluing a young RHD with room to grow and overvaluing a large physical 5D that can move the puck a bit. I’d love to keep Zadorov but I think Hronek has more value. Maybe not at his contract demand though, sheesh.
Guentzel kinda speaks for itself. Need more goals on the wing.
Guentzal and Hronek as they are top of the line up players. Assuming Hronek is 7-8 million and Guentzal is 9-10 million.
Zadorov is exactly the type of player who gets overpaid in free agency and will. Let someone else do it. He’s also redundant with Soucy and despit his playoffs has been a 5th defenceman his entire career.
Just stirring the pot, eh? We’d be lucky to have any two of these three next season (contracts depending of course).
Hronek and Zadorov.
First priority should be to get a deal done for Hronek. For all the hate he’s gotten recently, we’re a much worse team without him. Who do you replace him with that’s available this summer? It’s extremely hard to find top 4 RHD, especially ones of Hronek’s age. If you want an equal or better right handed D you’re either overpaying them in FA anyways or paying premium assets on the trade market. Get Hronek to around 7m or lower long term and run.

Zad’s great, but the other two are a step above him in everything but size & personality
I would take Guenztel and Zadorov.
Guenztel is comfortable with the coach and management and would love to make it work here for them and Zadorov had a big year overall and did get to leave Calgary and made it into the playoffs and made a big impact there. His family loves vancouver and he has a very good sense of humor.
Easily Guentzel and Hronek if possible.
Guentzel is that legit top 6 piece they’re missing. Zad brings physicality and a big body but with guys like Soucy, Joshua (hopefully), and Podz developing they should be fine. Hronek had a tough post season for sure, but he dropped nearly 50 points and is a legit top 4 right shot d-man. Hard to come by them.
Zad, on the other hand, had a great playoff run but is a 5/6 d-man at heart and is due for a sizable payday.
