@Flames de Calgary

1. Flames don't really have a bad jersey IMO. Even their alternate from like 2014ish with the C and Calgary isn't terrible. Except for the weird armpit stripes

  2. I think you should still do a play-off history on vegas, just speaking to how good they have been. You could make it a bit long discussing if they will be good for a long time? Moreover, there lack of a first-line center

  3. Man were so mediocre lol it would be nice if this team could get past the first round. That cup run was so fun to watch

  4. Seattle actually does have a history in the NHL but I'm not sure how interesting it would be.

  5. now that you mention it… After what VGK did to their icon….. Feckem batches, welcome to favourite team FlAeuRy

  6. Iggy was the anti Marchand, get Iginla fired up and u are screwed…. Get Marchand all wild and Bruins loses, because he does some dumb stuff

  7. I always wonder what happens if we didn't lose the lockout season after our 2004 finals run. Because we didn't get the chance to have that next season carrying the momentum from the run.

  8. So they lost 3 times in 4 years to the next year playoffs champion. Ducks in 06 (Won in 07), Red Wings in 07 (Won in 08), Blackhawks in 09 (Won in 10). Sharks should win in 2009 I guess.

  9. If they didn't overplay Kipper 75 games a year he might have had some better playoff performance against the Sharks and Blackhawks.

  10. Big Iginla fan, he was everything you want in a player and wanted the Flames to win it in 2004

  11. When you search prolonged mediocre in the dictionary, Calgary comes up. Just like Minnesota. It all comes down to the refusal to fully rebuild or even stockpile assets.

  12. In the 31 years sincs the Flames won the cup they've been out of the first round twice: the year they went to the finals and the year they beat Vancouver. I don't think there is a worse playoff record in the whole league. The year they lost to Colorado, they seemed to start well, then MacKinnon ran them out of the building. I think the problem with Gaudreau in the playoffs (and this goes for Mangiapane & Dube), is that when the physical game ramps up, and the refs let more things go, their small size works against them. Not that a smaller player can't succeed in the playoffs, but they need more back up and the Flames don't have it. They just have more small guys. Little Patrick Kane is a great playoff performer, but he had a lot more backing him up than Gaudreau, Mangiapane & Dube have,. And the Flames still haven't fixed this.

  13. They should’ve played Arizona in 2019 but the terribly flawed loser point system let Colorado slip in, and then they lose. Refs officiating didn’t help at all either.
    Dallas the next year, refs should’ve been wearing green that series.
    And yes 2004 was a Flames win

  14. The puck was in the net! 2004 should be our Stanley Cup. And 2014-2015 was my favorite Flames season ever. I was 5 in 2004 and I don't remember it at all. Also I would like to point out, the 2011-2012 Flames were supposed to make the Playoffs and win the Cup. That specific team was supposed to do it all and faild. Very unfortunate to see their record were it is and not make it. Hopefully 2021-22 will be in our favor like 2015. Go Flames Go!
