Elvis reste

Derrière un paywall alors voici quelques extraits

« Soyons honnêtes, personne n’échangera contre ce contrat. Personne », a déclaré Waddell.

I wonder if his tune has changed after that PLD trade…

Big fucking yikes here. This is a terrible move, and only tells me he has watched no CBJ film over the last two years. I would’ve dealt with Elvis WAY before I would’ve considered coaching changes.

It’s very refreshing having someone come in as GM and not just blowing smoke like jarmo did to the fan base

That PLD probably set the value on what trading Elvis would have been in case it would happen so it makes sense to see if Waddell can get more out of Elvis. Also gives another season for Jet in the AHL and if things work out and Elvis has a good season, his trade value raises and then you can trade him.

I’m pretty okay with this, honestly. I’d rather give a guy a couple chances too many than be the team that cuts bait too fast and has the player go on to succeed somewhere else.

Also he’s not wrong, no one is taking that deal without giving up a ton of assets lol. We can always buy Elvis out later if hiring a coach who won’t tolerate the sideshow nonsense doesn’t help.

Cool, another year to rebuild and target the #1 pick. How’s the draft pool looking next year?

If Elvis can pull his head out of his own ass he’ll take us to the playoffs. Shut-up and stop pucks. That’s all I have to say about that!

As long as he’s not a detriment to the locker room then keep him. There’s no alternative really. Though, everything Porty has said about Elvis, you can tell the other players are most likely sick of his antics. Prove us wrong Elvis.
