I don’t like the « back stuff » comment regarding playing other sports.

This guy gives me Galchenyuk vibes in the sense that he checks all the boxes on paper but missed half the draft year with injuries and still his stock kept rising.

Stay away. I’m not betting on the injury to just go away. Way too many top quality prospects without the risk

If he’s available at 5 they’re going to take him. There’s some risk with his back but he’s a level above any forward not named Celebrini or Demidov.

He’s risky in terms of injury but if the health goes well we have a potential first line forward and at worst an absolute dog that can play second line imo

Ngl I kinda really dont want him after hearing him out. Saying that he was hesitant to pursue hockey at the very last moment because he loved baseball so much and adding the mysterious back injury…. I have a feeling habs management is also thinking the same thing.

There’s been a lot of revisionism regarding Galchenyuk lately, dude played over 400 games with us and was a decent producer in a really low scoring preMcDavid/Kucherov era. Yes his career fizzled pretty quickly after he left us and he didn’t live up to 3OA status but if you compare him to KK, he is miles ahead.

That interview did not give me the warm and fuzzies. Maybe he was nervous or tired. But if that is how he came across in his meetings and meal with the Canadiens’ brass, I would expect the latter to pass on him come draft day.

How many Caydens are we gonna draft
Habsfan_1984
Hutson – Reinbacher
Guhle – Parekh
Xhekaj – Mailloux
That seems like a pretty solid d core that has multiple layers of skill, size, two way abilities. That back issue is a bit too risky for me to take Lindstrom. I think we can make a trade for a top 6 forward
