So we are taking Lindstrom then. Bob has spoken.
We’ve been speculating who MTL will take if Demidov and Lindstrom are taken. I think the fact that Dickinson is ranked 6th on this list and was one of the few MTL took out to dinner leads me to believe he is a possible candidate.
6/10 scouts polled had Demidov at 2, while 3 had Levshunov.
Would be interesting to see what Anaheim and Columbus would do if Demidov was there, Im assuming the Ducks pass but they’re both wild cards to me.
I don’t know if my heart can take falling in hockey love with another big native guy from Northern BC who may or may not have health issues.
Only consensus top 5 guys in the survey are Mack and Demidov, even Sennecke got a vote at 5. What a wide open draft.

worst case scenario is celebrini, levshunov, lindstrom and demidov going top 4
I highly doubt that happens, but it’d be tragic
I would almost prefer MTL select someone everyone isn’t suspecting at 5, than someone everyone is hoping drops to 5.
I’d rather have management that can see things other teams don’t, than other teams seeing things MTL doesn’t.
I have a lot of faith in our management group, and I think they will select wisely.
Thanks for posting, but I’m just gonna stick to the mock drafts that have Demidov at 5 and pretend the rest don’t exist. 👍
