   Could you imagine a line with Sid and stammer on it but that’s probably not gonna happen Stamkos probably won’t be on the roster and as good as Sid is going to be almost 39 at that point, his production will drop off at some point, but it’s fun to imagine

   This will make me root for Canada even though I live in the U.S. – plus gotta think Pointer is on the roster. I don’t think Stammer will be though which would be a shame for the dude that he got so unlucky every Olympics.

   He’s the best hockey coach on the face of the planet. From lawyer and high school hockey coach to NHL coaching God.

   I always think about how surreal it must be for a superstar athlete to look back on their younger days, not knowing how far they’d make it. But those guys were on that track since they were a kid, hardly knew anything else.

   I couldn’t fathom how surreal it is for Cooper. Being a lawyer and pivoting over to junior hockey coaching, sounds like a bat shit crazy leap into something he was passionate about. Going from there to Stanley Cups and coaching your country in the Olympics must be a wild ride
