  1. Grit beats skill in the playoffs, every single time. Everytime Paul Maurice has stated throughout these playoffs that 'playoff hockey is different,' he means you need a full team effort of just gritting out a win. The Leafs don't have enough grit. Good goaltending makes a considerable difference, as well.

  2. They can't run it back but they will. 2024-25 will be more of the same, no point to speculate anything.

  3. Sell the overpaid rotten core cronic losers and replace with top Goalie, defence, and forwards who show up in big games.

  4. Priority #1 is fixing the salary structure, assuming that's fixed, then you search for a top 4 right shot right-handed D-man, that the fans have been screaming for, for 8 years, then a solid goal tender.

  5. Bert sucked. Domi was ok. Sammy was Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde. Jones was cheap and good in his Role.

If domi wants a reasonable contract sign him. Let Sammy go unless he takes league min. Jones should be signed for cheap depth, let Bert walk.

  6. …. Morgan Reilly is THEE Biggest Problem , get Rid of him ASAP . Tavares & Marner are not the Problem they play hard Every shift .

  7. Guys I hope the Leafs go after when free agency starts on Sunday:

RD – Matt Roy (top pair with Rielly)
RD – Jani Hakanpaa (2nd/3rd pair physical D)
    LD – Oliver Kylington (2nd/3rd pair puck-moving D)
LW – Tyler Bertuzzi/Jake DeBrusk (gritty top-6 winger)
    C – Chandler Stephenson/Sean Monahan/Elias Lindholm (2nd/3rd line C)
    W/C – Dakota Joshua/Yakov Trenin/Viktor Arvidsson (bottom-6 forwards)

  8. The Leafs players need passion and drive. Not all but some keys guys for sure. They can’t be afraid to get in there and dig for it. They have the skill and talent but it needs to shine at all times.

  9. Trade Marner so the freed up $10.9 M can be used to sign a very good #1 goaltender and a #1 right hand shot defenseman.

  10. Craig Berube will be given season 2024/2025 as a honeymoon season. Once John Tavares’s $11 M finally comes off the books next Springtime, Treliving can sign very good complementary players.

  11. Boycott the NHL..americanized league. Canadian players are, unpatriotic, sell out, money grubbers who would rather play in america south. Canadians need our own league or just stick to OHL and amateur league.boycot the NHL..

  12. 1) convincing the fans they have reason to be optimistic.
    2) convince fans that it really is worth thousands of their dollars to watch/attend.
    3) convince fans that it was hot their fault, they just ran into a hot team/goalie/.
