If Jake can play a bit like Louie (obviously it's not the 80s or 90s anymore) but with more scoring, I'm good with that. Exactly what the top 6 needed.
This guy comes across as an Oil fan that people like. Gazdic is like the opposite. Hopefully this guy is picked instead of Luke for the variety of Canucks sports interviews by local media
I think DeBrusk will be a real positive addition to the Canucks lineup. He's a good hockey player both physically and mentally. All those years of bumping and grinding it out with the Bruins qualifies him for a serious role with Miller, Boeser, Petterson, Hughes and the other top Canuck players.
no analyst disses the canucks more than louis. it may have to do with getting a smack down by gino back in the day. fans blew the roof off.

DeBrusk will be a continued disappointment. The moment Tocc barks at him, JB is going in a shell. He is a head case who is capable to be a good player but he is very streaky. Van fans will know what they have by the half of the season. Prepare to be underwhelmed.

The Canucks honestly only deserved one game they were completely outplayed it shouldn’t of been a close series
We can only hope Jake takes the next step like Brock where maybe he scores 30+ goals playing next to Pety. Canucks are one more top-six player from doing some serious damage. Maybe Lekkerimaki or Hoglander can chip in some offense and play as a top-6 next season…

Louie is such a likeable person
I feel like if Jake can work on his consistency and work ethic, he can easily be a top line forward. This contract could look like a steal.
I was impressed by Vancouver's performance last year. I'm looking forward to how the coach is going to improve the team this time around.
When i was an elementary student in Edmonton in early 90's, Debrusk came to visit our school. Always fond memories of that. Looking forward to seeing his pov on Canucks this sesson! Hoping for big season from Jake.
