I loved Brodie while he was with us and the contract is fair value but i hope the media doesn't shit on him, he's not known for shot blocking or great defense, he is excellent at moving the puck forward/out and using his stick but does not play a physical game and gets caught puck watching at times.
Leafs still suck
TJ is a good player but beware Toronto , he has been known to give up the puck at the worst time leading to a goal by the opposing team .

Why should any leaf's fan,believe that this guy is gonna be any better than Berry, until he puts the uniform on and proves it. Leaf fan's were told that CiCi, Hainsey Dion, Berry, Marincin, and many many many more in the last 53 year's were good. NOT. But anyway GLG. Barrie got shit as an offensive D man who was expected to produce when he wasn't much towards the start of his time as a leaf, no one wants Brodie to be a producer, just need a solid, competent and responsible player next to Morgan Rielly so that our best D Man can play to his potential
Edit: point is the expectations are fundamentally different for TJ Brodie than they were for Barrie so I doubt you'll see the same kinda shit thrown his way
Trade holl ,kerfoot and freddy Andersen, That is almost 11mill cap space, Darcy KUEMPER is worth a shot, Then the leafs have space for let's say a Chara, corey Perry, and a trade for a right Dman.
Tj brodie is okay but the leafs need another top right D man
